Lashing out in an emotional Facebook post, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson took aim at his male co-stars in the latest Fast and the Furious instalment, saying they made his ‘blood boil’.
And while the rant didn’t name anyone specifically, it no doubt had co-stars Vin Diesel, Scott Eastwood and Jason Statham ducking for cover!
‘My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t,’ wrote the former WWE wrestling star. ‘The ones that don’t are too chicken s*** to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses.’
The Rock, however, was able to see the positive side of all this on-set tension, saying it makes for a better movie because ‘I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling’.
An on-set source tells E! News that filming the movie ‘wasn’t easy for anyone’ this time around and it was ‘especially’ hard on The Rock, who’s ‘a very emotional guy’.
‘Some of the guys did some small things that pissed him off, so he snapped,’ says the source. ‘He called them out and then they were [too] silent to man up and say what they wanted to say.’
