She might already be a mum of four, but Nicole Kidman has always had her sights set on a bigger family.
But in a recent interview with BBC2, the Lion actress has revealed her wish to grow her brood doesn’t sit well with country crooner husband, Keith Urban.
“He’s kinda maxed out. He’s like, I’m done baby, I’m done. Let’s just focus on what we have,” she admitted.
“I would have liked probably two or three more children. I love, love children. I love raising children… They make me feel good and I love being around and I love the ups and downs, and I love watching them grow and the things they say and teach.”
“I hate to use the word regret because I have no regrets – in terms of I’m so blessed,” she added.
“But would I enjoy giving to more young people? Yeah. But there’s ways in which I do it now. I mean I have nieces and nephews.”
While Urban, 49, may not share her thoughts on extending their already large family, the Oscar-winner remains open to the possibility of adoption in the future.
“Would I consider adopting again? Yes, possibly, everything.”
Kidman and Urban share two girls together, Sunday Rose, 8, and Faith Margaret, 6.
The 49-year-old is also mum to Isabella, 24 and Connor, 21, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
