WATCH: Firass Dirani shares HILARIOUS video of him dancing as a kid
Actor Firass Dirani, who stars in the show alongside Hugh Sheridan, Jessica Rowe, Jamie Durie, Anna Heinrich, Anne Edmonds, Stephanie Rice and Jude Bolton, shared a sweet video of himself dancing as a kid. Much to his embarrassment!
Firass told viewers in a piece to camera that for his brother’s 21st birthday, his mother “made him a costume out of silk and polyester, and he had to go out and dance in front of his family and brother’s friends.”
“I don’t know, I was probably 14,” he continued.
“It scarred me for life,” he said, sarcastically.
His commentary accompanied a video of the young star breakdancing in a slick and shiny outfit, perhaps the one his mum had made him wear.
Poor Firass!
While Firass has his teenage dance moves to fall back on, show contestant Jessica is finding the discipline of dancing hard to keep up with.
“I don’t feel sexy,” Jess confessed of her self doubt in a new trailer for the show, as she visibly struggled with one intimate scene with her dance partner, who is seen pressing his face towards hers.
It is then that a tearful Jess revealed what she is struggling with.
“When you become a mum you almost feel that a part of yourself shuts down; that part of you that is just for you,” she confessed in the emotional scene.
The Real Dirty Dancing continues on Channel 7 at 7.30pm tonight.
