After much speculation, the identity of the prawn on The Masked Singer has finally been revealed.

Audiences were left shocked when the man behind the costume was revealed, as it was the last person they expected.
On Sunday, the singer was revealed to be actor and TV host Darren McMullen.
According to The Daily Mail, their guesses included Kris Smith (judge Dannii Minogue’s ex-partner) and Andrew Flintoff (British TV presenter and Ninja Warrior Australia host).
Darren said that he had never sung before and that the show had provided him with the opportunity to pursue a personal dream.
“My whole life, I’ve wanted to sing, I’ve wanted to be on stage, I wanted to do that,” said Darren.
“And if I can do that somehow with a mask and hidden behind this prawn, that would be a great opportunity.”
Fans of The Masked Singer took to Twitter to voice their shock at the House Husbands star being identified as the prawn.
“The Prawn is Darren McMullen. I did not guess that at all #maskedsingerau” wrote one fan, followed by many who were convinced it had been Kris Smith.
Last week, Grant Denyer sparked rumours that he is a contestant on The Masked Singer after revealing that he has been taking weekly singing lessons for several years.
Punters have suggested that the 42-year-old is the celebrity voice behind the Dragon costume.
“I like music. I play guitar and I play the drums. I love the art of singing, it is the most incredible craft and it is so impressive when you watch someone that can do it well,” Grant told The Daily Telegraph.
The clues we know so far about the Dragon include the fact the audience was hearing him “like never before” in his mask.
The judges’ guesses were Daniel Ricciardo, Ben Gillies, Waleed Aly and Mark Skaife.
