The Brady Bunch reunion no-one saw coming!

Why a dark history of bitter feuds has been forgotten

She may be in a long-running feud with a number of her Brady siblings, but Maureen McCormick clearly still has the support of her on-screen mum.

Competing on the first episode of this year’s US Dancing With The Stars, Maureen, who played Marcia Brady on the hit’ 70s show, was given a huge surprise when she was reunited with Florence Henderson following her performance.

‘You were fabulous,’ a teary Florence told Maureen. ‘I’m so proud.’

Clearly emotional, Maureen hugged and kissed Florence before telling the host, ‘I love her… This is such a dream. It doesn’t feel real. It’s just so amazing to be on this set. I’m honestly just so thrilled that I’m here and being given this opportunity.’

While Florence was happy to cheer on Maureen in the audience, there was little chance of any of her other Brady castmates making an appearance, with the remaining members believed to be bitter because Maureen has previously refused to sign on to a reunion special or participate in certain commercial agreements.

Writing of her frustration while Maureen participated in the Aussie version of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, Susan Olsen, who played Cindy Brady posted on Facebook: ‘I am bewildered. We had a deadline today to sign off on the use of a song for a large commercial – instant money, all we need do is sign a piece of paper. Five out of six Brady “Kids” are in agreement. .Maureen McCormick refuses to sign off. I just don’t get it, she’ll eat insects and swim in elephant dung for her team mates on a reality show but won’t sign a piece of paper for her former cast mates that she grew up with. She knows she is ruining the deal and losing money for everyone; why???’
