The judges from The Block were left gobsmacked when contestants Jason and Sarah failed to complete their master suite challenge.
All three were shocked when Jason and Sarah presented them with a shell of a room and promptly scored them zero.
Scott Cam was so disappointed that he threatened to kick them off the series if their master suite and next room isn’t finished by Sunday.
‘In the interest of fair play I can’t let your lack of effort continue so here’s how this is going to work and it’s not negotiable,’ he said.
‘By next Sunday I want you to have fully completed your master suite and the room we are doing next week. If you don’t have them completed by tools down next Sunday, you are off The Block.’
‘It’s a slap in the face, really. They’ve been given a golden opportunity, a life-changing opportunity … to get that opportunity and curl it up in a ball and throw it over your shoulder, it’s an insult,’ said judge Darren Palmer.
Neale Whitake said: ‘They’ve blown it. People try so hard to get on this show, that this is just pathetic.’
This was the first time a couple has received an overall score of zero. They must complete both the master suite and the next room by next Sunday or they will be eliminated.
