The new cast of The Block, Season 12, has been announced and it’s looking pretty damn great! This time the cast will include it’s first ever lesbian couple, in addition to it’s oldest-ever contestants.
The show made history in 2004 with the first same-sex couple to appear on Australian Reality TV, Gavin and Warren. Now, Melbourne couple Julia and Sash will be the first lesbian couple to grace our blockhead screens.
The duo, who have been together for fours years, will also be joined by Perth couple Dan, 55, and Carleen, 52, who are the show’s oldest contestants ever.
Other contestants this season include Kim and Chris from Newcastle, Andy and Ben from Geelong, and Queensland highschool sweethearts Karlie and William #cute.
