Tension is set to reach boiling point on The Block after one contestant took unfair advantage during the unprecedented COVID-19 shutdown period.

Just a stone’s throw away from the building site is the home of Victorian team, Harry and Tash. From the get-go, this has given the team an obvious advantage. But it appears Harry took it too far and was spotted sneaking around the set during lockdown – although Tash, 32, insists the duo weren’t cheating.

“Our advantage only felt apparent at the start when people were trying to find their feet in Melbourne,” she told New Idea.
Meanwhile, the culprit himself Harry, 57, also stressed that their advantage was solely limited to “local knowledge”.
“Our advantage… is that we’re local to Melbourne and local to Bayside,” says Harry.
However, the line between local advantage and cheating became blurred after Harry was caught snooping around the site during lockdown, leaving the other contestants highly unimpressed.

So, will Harry’s dirty tactics pay off come auction day?
This isn’t the only cheating scandal set to rock the Blockheads. New Idea also hears whispers that another couple were accused of copying their design from a social media account.
“Let’s just say that when the judges found out, all hell broke loose,” dishes a source.
