If CBS wants to continue with comedy The Big Bang Theory, actress Kaley Cuoco says ‘it’s going to cost them’. And with the show already ridiculously expensive to produce, thanks to the stars’ unprecedented salaries, Hollywood is seeing the actress’ declaration as the final death knell for the hit show.
Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, Cuoco said reuniting the cast for an 11th season after the current cycle is up next spring is ‘a very expensive question … for a lot of people.’
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cuoco along with co-stars Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons earn $1 million per episode.
Reminiscing her time on the show, Cuoco says she can’t believe how much everyone has changed.
‘Ten seasons: It’s a lot of hair,’ she said. ‘That’s a lot of denim sizes … all my 20s, I went from like hot to like, 30! I was 21 when I started this show.
‘The guys look exactly the same – I’m the only one that’s changed – they’ve worn the same t-shirts this entire time … they don’t care.’
