She claims there wasn’t any chemistry between her and The Bachelor Richie Strahan, but there could be another stinky reason Laura Williams was happy to leave.
Williams, who did not receive a rose in Thursday night’s rose ceremony, says the decision to leave was hers.
Her official reason being, they didn’t connect. ‘He seems like a really nice dude. Not everyone’s going to fit the mould — we didn’t have chemistry,’ she told News.com.au.
Digging a little deeper, the news site uncovered another possible reason.
Neither confirming nor denying reports of Richie’s ‘less-than-pleasing odour’, Williams said: ‘I can say nothing.’
A source told New Idea earlier this month, ‘He is a lovely guy, but that kind of boy-next-door cutesiness isn’t attractive to a lot of girls,’ says a source on set.’
When asked what Richie smells like, she replied, ‘Like Richie.’
In the end, all it took was a quick chat with producers and Williams was out.
‘I had a chat with them beforehand, Williams said. ‘I said I wasn’t feeling it when I got asked if I wanted a rose.’
