Major congratulations are in order for former Home and Away star Tessa James.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the 26-year-old is expecting her first child with her rugby league player husband Nate Myles.
It’s believed the actress is around five months pregnant, with her agent Atelier Management confirming the exciting news at the David Jones Spring/Summer fashion show in Sydney on Wednesday.
James turned heads at the event, stepping out in a striking red dress that kept her blossoming baby bump well hidden.
The announcement comes just three years after the soap star was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Myles has been a pillar of strength for James in recent times, remaining vigil by her side as she battled vigorous chemotherapy treatments in an effort to overcome the disease.
“I am excited, my life is exciting and I am in a really good place,” the notoriously private star told the publication in 2016.
“I feel strong as a person and I am surrounded by really beautiful people. I am very much a believer that everything happens for a reason and that is my journey.”
The happy couple met through mutual friends, Jodi and Braith Anasta back in 2009.
They enjoyed a whirlwind romance before tying the knot just two years later.
