Katie Holmes is so terrified of committed Scientologist Jenna Elfman, she literally hid from her when their paths threatened to cross on the set of Good Morning America.
That’s the sensational claim this morning, after a show insider told Radar Online that Tom Cruise’s ex wife fled, visibly frightened, from a potential encounter with the reportedly forthright Scientology devotee.
‘Jenna was doing the show live to promote her new ABC show,’ a source told the website. ‘She was happy and charming and the audience loved her.’
But things were very different for Katie, whose divorce from Scientology figurehead Tom Cruise has reportedly made her a major enemy of the church.
‘Backstage Katie was terrified,’ Radar’s source sensationally alleged. ‘She was literally hiding from her and she seemed scared.
‘They had to change Katie’s dressing room because she wanted to be nowhere near the famous Scientologist.’
The website claims Elfman has a bitter history of denouncing former church members, and Katie has allegedly been designated a ‘suppressive person’ – much like Tom’s second wife, Nicole Kidman.
‘Katie got out of the religion and knows everything, and she wants nothing to do with Scientology,’ says the source.
Jenna Elfman has yet to comment on Radar’s report. Tellingly, Katie Holmes has never publicly discussed Scientology since leaving the church, amid reports Tom Cruise has had minimal contact with their daughter Suri.
