Poor Delta Goodrem just can’t seem to take a trick. The star has endured another deluge of abuse of her light hearted antics on The Voice – seemingly proving that she she can’t win some people over, no matter how hard she tries.
The pop beauty, who has in the past feuded with a number of co-judges, received the deluge of abuse after her theatrical antics on the most recent show – which saw her flamboyantly turning her chair with her feet and writhing orgasmically to the music before pushing the buzzer with her foot.
‘Delta just push the friggin’ button with ur hand like a normal person,’ one unimpressed viewer ranted on Twitter, while another raged, ‘Just sit on the chair properly Delta FFS. Don’t use your foot to press the buzzer’.
Another sniped, ‘Are Delta’s hands broken?’
There were similar incidents last week, with the star drawing negative comment for her habit of dancing and striking poses as she allegedly contemplates pressing the show’s iconic buzzer.
‘Would be nice if Delta could press the damn button just once without being so dramatic,’ wrote one fan. But that was light criticism compared to some other comments.
‘Either press the button or sit the F down,’ ranted one viewer on Twitter. ‘One thing that p***es me off is when Delta stands up and starts dancing. ‘It’s just a button Delta. Try and press it without the bulls**t theatrics.’
Seethed another viewer on social media: ‘She gets up, dances and acts like she’s going to hit the button and we know she most likely won’t.
‘Imagine how the artist feels up there when they see her doing that.’
