Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice wants out of her marriage to husband Joe — as she has started to believe cheating rumours, according to a shock report out of the US today.
The reality TV babe, who initially stuck by her other half as he started his 41-month prison sentence for conspiracy and bankruptcy fraud in March last year, is said to be ready to throw in the towel.
A source close to the star told Us Weekly magazine: “She’s loving her independence, she’s told me, ‘I can do this on my own. I don’t need Joe, or anyone.”
The insider says Teresa believes whispers he has been unfaithful with a mystery woman he was first linked to in 2012.
The brunette beauty, who has daughters Gia, 16, Gabriella, 12, Milania, 11, and Audriana, 7 with Joe, allegedly had a “showdown” with the woman a few months before he went to prison after doing her own detective work.
But it was to no avail, with Teresa allegedly telling pals she later saw the woman’s name in the prison guest registry.
The source added that since she decided to ditch Joe a few months ago she has been out on the town partying with her girlfriends.
“She’s learned how strong she is and it’s done wonders for her self-esteem,” they said. “She’s no longer looking to Joe to make her feel whole.”
Teresa has denied the claims through her lawyer.
