Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry has revealed that she is expecting her third child with longtime friend Chris Lopez.
She took to Twitter on Tuesday to confirm the news after a US tabloid penned a story with the salacious headline: “Pregnant Kaiyln Lowry takes DNA test – Is Chris Lopez REALLY the baby daddy?”
The 25-year-old responded: “Ancestry DNA & yeah he is… stop with the headlines already.”
The reality TV star first announced that she was pregnant back in February, but refrained from revealing who the child’s father was.
“Having another child is something I am so happy about and I just can’t wait,” she wrote on her blog.
“My boys are so excited, those who love me are so excited, and I hope that everyone can just be happy for me during this time.”
Rumours that Lopez was Lowry’s baby daddy began swirling last week, after she shared an Instagram of herself cradling her blossoming bump.
“Happy bump day from Baby Lo & me,” she captioned the post.
While some assumed the “Lo” stemmed from her own last name, many fans were quick to speculate that the star was referring to Lopez’s moniker.
“Baby Lo? So Lopez?” one follower questioned.
“Lo for Lopez!” clarified another.
Lowry already has two sons: seven-year-old Isaac, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, and Lincoln, 3, a child from her marriage to Javi Marroquin.
