She was famously charged with child endangerment for allegedly taking her daughter to a tanning bed back in 2012.
But now ‘Tan Mom’ aka Patricia Krentcil, 49, is furious after her 11-year-old daughter Anna came home from school with sunburn.
The mother-of-five, who is looking into suing the school district for neglect, told the New York Post: ‘She was totally burned. I packed her [sunscreen] and she came home like a french fry.’
Five years ago, Patricia was arrested after a school nurse noticed burns on her daughter’s legs.
When the nurse asked her then five-year-old daughter how she got the burns, she replied, ‘I go tanning with mommy,’ according to CBS New York.
Krentcil explained that she brought her daughter along to her daily tanning sessions, but insisted that the child had never been in the tanning beds herself, saying the burns on Anna’s legs were the result of a day out in the sun.
A grand jury eventually decided against indicting her, however the scandal propelled Patricia into the limelight – with the tan-obsessed mum stating she made a six-figure sum cashing in on her fame, releasing a rap single and appearing a red carpets.
However despite the fame and fortune, the US woman insists her life has been made a ‘living hell’ and is prepared to take her daughter’s school to court.
‘After what they did to me, they didn’t put lotion on her? This time, I’m going after them,’ she vowed.
