She might be married to his brother, Peter Stefanovic, but Sylvia Jeffreys revealed that she would be ‘gobsmacked’ if she received an invitation to Karl Stefanovic’s upcoming wedding to Jasmine Yarbrough.
And, it’s all about Karl’s lack of organisational skills. ‘I will tell you one thing, Karl, much like Pete, is not really an organiser. They can’t even really pull a lunch together more than three hours in advance,’ she told Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny.
‘Don’t ask them to book the restaurant, mate, because you don’t know where you will end up. Probably at 17 different locations for each guest!
‘If I just receive a physical invitation, I will be absolutely gobsmacked that he succeeded.’
Fingers crossed, Jasmine is more organised!
But joking aside, Sylvia revealed that Karl is over the moon about his impending nuptials.
‘He is extraordinarily happy and we are happy for him and for Jasmine, too,’ she shared. ‘They’re a beautiful couple. Happy, happy days ahead.’
When Sylvia married Karl’s brother in a romantic ceremony last year, Karl was Peter’s best man, but Sylvia isn’t expecting to have a role in Karl’s big day.
‘I will just be happy to be there celebrating whenever it all happens,’ she said.
What’s more, Sylvia revealed that she has no plans on changing her name anytime soon.
‘I quite like being a Jeffreys. I’ve always liked being a Jeffreys, and I think I always will like being a Jeffreys.’
