It was a romance so intense it had Geoffrey Edelston gushing over their “sensational chemistry.” But it turns out the 73-year-old’s alleged relationship with The Block’s Suzi Taylor was over been before it even began.
Today Taylor shut down rumours the pair were ever an item and revealed to News Corp that she’s actually seeing another man.
The news comes after reports earlier this week that the mother-of-three and the business tycoon were dating after they were snapped attending a party together in Melbourne.
At the time Edelston was quick to confirm their relationship status, confessing, “She’s gorgeous, articulate and fun and is attracted to me, I believe, because I’ve a lot to offer. I am euphoric. I am enjoying her company and the relationship very much indeed.”
Taylor’s take on the situation however, is undoubtedly different.
“I was actually blown away because we had our photo taken and I think I spoke to him for about five minutes,” she said.
“I think he’d had too much to drink. Maybe he thought I was someone else. He’s definitely not my type. I am after someone a bit more lively, and a bit different in the looks department.”
The new man in the reality TV star’s life has since been revealed as real estate entrepreneur Drew Davidson. But hesitant to give away too much detail about her latest beau, Taylor is keeping tight-lipped.
“I like to keep my dating life private as I have three young kids who read everything, but when situations like this come up you have to set the record straight,” she said.
When Daily Mail informed Edelston about Taylor’s denial of their romance, he responded saying, “Oh, well. She’ll just say whatever she likes.”
