Married At First Sight star Susan has gone on another shocking tirade, this time slamming producers of the show for encouraging bullying and bad behaviour among the contestants.
“After we were made to leave [a dinner party], two of the boys were messaging saying, ‘Wasn’t it awesome how we made Cheryl cry?’,” the 37-year-old told Junkee.
“They don’t even care about the human beings who are dealing with the consequences.”
“And they are huge consequences,” she added.
Susan also revealed that the show’s promise to provide psychological support for the cast was not followed through on, explaining that the ‘experts’ spent little to no time with the cast.
“The only [other] time you saw [the psychologists] was on was on the couch at the commitment ceremony,” she said.
“We didn’t have any other interaction with them ever. Never ever.”
This comes just days after the Perth-based truck driver told Perth Now she was “denied her human rights” as the contestants were “fed lines” while filming and made to “beg for toilet breaks.”
“They read out sentences to me, which I then had to repeat back to the camera,” she said.
“It’s absolutely fake and excruciating to live through… We are not talking to the experts and they are not talking with us, they are just pawns in a game.”
