After a prolonged search, Justin happens upon Alf ’s unconscious body. At the same time, Scarlett spots Alf’s attacker and does her best to hide from him.

Panicked, Justin assesses Alf. After a few attempts, he manages to wake him and tries to get information out of him about who hurt him.

As Alf groggily explains, Scarlett appears and quickly reports what she has seen.

Without Alf ’s pocketknife, the trio know they must rally together and move swiftly to escape the danger lurking in the bushes. Time is ticking and Alf needs urgent medical attention.

So just who is this mysterious stalker?

New Idea can reveal Jake Ryan will play Summer Bay’s newest bad boy. As he explains, gunning for Ray Meagher was a difficult way to enter the Bay.

‘It definitely was not the best entry, to come in and have a go at one of Australia’s biggest acting icons,’ Jake laughs.

‘I don’t know how I felt about that. My mum will be very unhappy – she’s a huge fan of the show.’

Although his character comes in all guns blazing, Jake insists audiences shouldn’t write him off immediately.

‘It potentially could be in self-defence. Maybe it’s not a malicious thing,’ the 33-year-old teases.

‘I think it’s going to take a little while for everyone to warm up to him making an entrance like that, but hopefully people will come around… he’s not a bad guy.’

Home And Away airs Monday to Thursday, 7pm, Channel Seven.
