Steve Irwin is to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
His daughter Bindi shared the announcement on social media with a photo of the pair.
“Beyond excited to share with you all that we have just received news that Dad will be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” she wrote.

Terri Irwin shared a video of herself, Bindi and son Bob finding out about the news.

The family were on their remote Western Queensland conservation property and shrieked with delight when they found out.

Irwin tragically died in September 2006 after being stung in the heart by a stingray whilst filming a documentary.
