Sophie Monk has shocked fans in her latest Instagram post, revealing that she is not only filming a movie but co-starring with none other than 90’s rapper and Ice Ice Baby singer Vanilla Ice.
The 43-year-old who shot to fame as a member of the pop girl group Bardot has starred in a number of other movies, and starred in numerous reality television shows both as a contestant and a host, but her new role is perhaps her most exciting yet!

Titled “Zombie Plane”, it’s not hard to imagine what the premise of the film will be about, but regardless of the plot, we sure are excited to see Sophie bust out her acting chops on the global stage.
Revealing the news to her 664k followers, Sophie wrote ‘’Failed English at school but I would get an A+ in Aussie…what other piss sayings am I missing?”
“The rumours are true I’m doing a movie with Vanilla Ice Official I smell an Oscar #zombieplane”
In the video that accompanied the caption Vanilla Ice and Sophie joked about Aussie slang, and the many different ways Aussies can say the word “p***”

According to the official IMDB synopsis, “When passengers on a jet flying from Sydney to Los Angeles become infected with new strains of zombie viruses, Vanilla Ice and Sophie Monk are forced to team up to contain the contagion before the US Air Force shoots it out of the sky.”

In an Instagram video of his own, 55-year-old Vanilla Ice shared a funny behind-the-scenes video of a fellow plane passenger who had presumably been killed by “zombies”.
“Oh, look who this is, there’s carnage everywhere,” Vanilla Ice said whilst shooting a fellow actor who was lying “dead” on the plane floor surrounded by fake blood.
“The pilot is down, there is a situation,” he continued laughing.”
“Oh, I’m just taking a nap,” the “dead” pilot responded.
“He drank too much, that’s the situation,” Vanilla Ice added, still laughing.

Big Brother star and influencer Ellie Gonsalves is also starring in the movie, taking to her Instagram to write: “Ever wonder what it’s like being on a plane full of zombies with me, @vanillaice and @sophiemonk? You will soon in a cinema near you…”
The film is currently shooting in Noosa with an expected release date of sometime in 2024.
