Christina Grimmie has been laid to rest in a private, and intimate funeral in New Jersey.
The funeral for the young singer, who was tragically shot following her concert in Orlando in a senseless act of violence, was held on Thursday, and according to PEOPLE, it “was a private, intimate gathering for her family and close friends.”
It has been revealed that Christina’s coach from The Voice, Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine, paid for the funeral. Christina’s brother told fans of the kind gesture on his Facebook page: “I found out this morning that Adam Levine personally called my mother and said he will pay for her funeral and her plane flight. I was blown away.”
Fans wishing to farewell the 22-year-old can attend a public memorial in New Jersey.
Rest in Peace, Christina. Your beautiful voice will never be forgotten.
