Jim Carrey’s late girlfriend made a series of unsettling claims about the star and their relationship before she passed away, according to reports published today in the US.
In a video obtained by American magazine National Enquirer, tragic Cathriona White reportedly described their love as ‘like 50 Shades of Grey’ before adding, ‘50 f***ing million shades of Jim and I’m 50 f***ing million shades of f***ed up because of it.’
Describing the star’s allegedly erratic behavior and purported drug use, she continued: ‘He roller coasters a lot… I guess sugar f***s him up… Makes him really depressed and then he started smoking pot, and then he kept eating more sugar, and then he was just like having these breakdowns, like meltdowns.’
Carrey’s emotional torment allegedly extended to lashing out.
‘He’s broken so many computers now it’s ridiculous. He’s thrown them and… he’d be like shouting at me for no reason and like punching the wall beside me,’ Cathriona is quoted as saying.
The late Irishwoman went on to say that after they broke up, Carrey went into ‘around the clock rehab’ and was apparently told he couldn’t see her for 30 days – although he stated he loved and missed her.
Troubled Cathriona was aged just 30 when she was tragically found dead last year, with prescription bottles on her bedside table.
