It’s Sophie Monk like fans have never seen her before!
The Bachelorette star took to Instagram last night to share a hilarious throwback to her first stint on reality TV.
The footage shows a 12-year-old Sophie, appearing on the Bert Newtown hosted show New Faces’ Junior Talent Edition back in 1992.
The star is completely unrecognizable, taking to the stage to sing the The Ugly Duckling and donning a feather cape and fluffy ears for her performance.
“OMG! Singing on the first children’s Comp for “New Faces” with Bert Newton,” she captioned the video. “@keithurban was on the same show 10 years earlier. I was cool at school until this moment!”
The full version of the clip starts with Bert introducing the youngster:
“Sophie is 12 years of age, she’s performed in various school concerts and eisteddfods,” he tells viewers.
“She’s appeared on Northern Rivers Television, she’s been an extra on Skippy, and in commercials and she’s studying jazz, tap and also acrobatic dancing.”
The starlet then rips into her rendition, which obviously impresses the judges.
“Sophie, it was a performance full of character and it was very appealing. I would encourage you to keep up with the character acting and the character vocals because I think you’ve got a beaut future,” one judge said.
