Before Sasha Mielczarek won Sam Frost’s heart on The Bachelorette last year, his family was already in the news.
His father Aleksander, also known as Sasha Snr, has been linked to the Rebels bikie club.
This week, Sasha’s dad’s past has caught up with him once again.
Sasha Snr lost his appeal against Civil and Administrative Tribunal for NSW’s decision earlier this year to deny his tattoo licence because of his connections to the club.
‘The Tribunal found that although [Mr Mielczarek] had joined the Rebels in 1999 at the age of 36 years and he knew that the Rebels members had been involved in serious crimes of violence, [he] no longer had a strong association with the Rebels,’ the appeal panel ruled.
The 53-year-old owns two tattoo parlours in New South Wales.
