My Kitchen Rules star Josh has fled Australia following the backlash from his “sl**t” slur on Wednesday night’s episode.
Sunrise host Samantha Armytage made the shock revelation live on-air yesterday, after slamming the 25-year-old for his inappropriate comment which was directed at rival Amy.
“We invited Josh to come on to explain himself, but he has left the country – he literally is in Europe,” Armytage told viewers.
The 40-year-old then went on to reprimand the ‘seafood king’ for using the derogatory term.
“You should never say that to a woman – ever,” Armytage advised.
“Under any circumstance.”
Her co-host David Koch also weighed in on the incident which has sparked public outrage since it was aired on the show.
“Wow. When you see the grab by yourself you think… you know you have light-hearted banter with some friends and then it goes too far – but it doesn’t sound like it,” he said.
“It just came out of the blue.”
