Kim Kardashian’s rapidly expanding backside is the symptom of a health condition, according to a sensational report published in the US today.
American publication The National Enquirer maintains Kim has what’s called lipedema, an accumulation of fluid and fat cells beneath the skin, usually seen in the buttocks and legs.
The alleged diagnosis was reached after Kim’s voice was analysed in using a purportedly revolutionary medical algorithm.
“Kim should take this very seriously,” Sharry Edwards, owner of Institute of BioAcoustic Biology in Albany, Ohio, was quoted as saying. “It could be life-threatening, even though she seems to be in only the first stage.”
“It’s quite common and affects as much as 30 percent of American women,” New York-based internist Dr. Stuart Fischer told The Enquirer.
Dr. Fischer added that the institute’s algorithm, which was used to diagnose Kim’s lipedema, is “entirely in line with accepted medical theory that illnesses can manifest in a patient’s voice months, and in some cases, years, before regular diagnosis.”
Kim has yet to comment on the claims.
