New information has emerged this afternoon about the shocking passing of sitcom legend Alan Thicke, who has died suddenly aged just 69.
According to US reports, the former Growing Pains star had been playing ice hockey with this 19-year-old son Carter, when he was suddenly struck by a massive heart attack.
Although he was transported to hospital, he was pronounced dead – with family reportedly deciding to donate his organs, according to a report on US website TMZ.
‘Alan’s sudden passing has been confirmed. At present, we have no further details,’ the star’s rep Monique Moss confirmed in an email.
