Actress Shay Mitchell was severely mummy-shamed earlier this week, after she opted to leave her barely week old baby at home so she could attend American rapper Drake’s 33rd birthday party.

Taking to Instagram, the first time mum and her husband shared snaps of themselves out at the wild event, captioning the series of blurry photos, “parents”.
After, the backlash became so fierce online that one fan even accused the Pretty Little Liars star of suffering from “postnatal depression”.
“This just screams some postpartum depression, no need to go out so quickly unless u gotta keep an eye on ur man or prove something. You know how much fluid is still leaking lol,” wrote one fan.
Another social media commentator wrote: “You picked Drake over your days old newborn?”
Now, Shay has posted a response to those posting negative comments about her, by posting a video of herself scrolling though the comment section with the words: “I haven’t been really checking my comments that often, but apparently, people are really upset that I left three days after having a kid to go out and party. It wasn’t three days and she was with [my dog] Angel, so…”
