It’s been over a year since controversial couple Brad Clarke and Tallena Johnston burst onto our screens in the first season of the polarising relationship TV show Seven Year Switch.

The acrimonious pair set tongues wagging with their explosive relationship, and eventually alienated themselves from their co-stars.

Since tying the knot in
a secret ceremony in their home state of Queensland in June last year, the couple have shied away from the media limelight and the resulting backlash that surrounded their appearance, even going so far as to delete their joint Instagram account.

As reported in New Idea last year, one of Brad’s former friends claimed he was ‘a scammer’ who previously went by the name of Doug, and once declared he had oesophageal cancer.

‘It made me feel betrayed and really sick,’ Andrew Moore said.

When New Idea contacted Brad, he replied: ‘I think he’s pulling your leg. I never claimed to have had cancer.’

Both Brad and Tallena caused a stir on Seven Year Switch with their explosive fights and tumultuous relationship.

However, New Idea can now reveal the divisive duo appear to still be a couple.

Tallena posted a photo of herself and Brad to her Facebook page in May, which also showed off a new cropped hairstyle.

‘My fav,’ a friend commented.

When New Idea contacted Brad about sharing details of their lives since being on the show, he declined to comment.

Tallena also posted a photo of herself with a small child to her Facebook page in March.

While her relationship to the toddler is not known, it might suggest the couple is planning on starting their own family at some point in the near future.
