After weeks of drama and intrigue, Seven Year Switch climaxed with a bitter falling out, over – of all things – a theoretical erection.
The women’s dinner party on last night’s show degenerated into a slanging match over the significance of potentially being intimately close to something you didn’t sign up for – an involuntary male physical process, that often happens in the morning.
When Stacey Louise confessed to sharing a bed with Johnny – to an approving high five from Kaitlyn – things went south.
‘That’s not something to high five about,’ Felicity complained, to which Stacey Louise responded with her pillow wall defense.
Tracey noted, ‘Johnny said to me he wouldn’t like it because of the fact men wake up with a hard on.
‘Johnny wakes up with a boner and wants to have sex every morning. What the hell is going on. We’re not that naive.’
Sarge used the same point to have a go at Johnny.
‘You made it quite clear to Tracey that you didn’t want some other guy pitching a tent — alright — getting a boner while he’s sleeping in the same bed as your Mrs.
‘I think it’s a bit hypercritical that you would say you don’t want a guy sleeping in the same bed but you are sleeping in the same bed as my partner, pitching a tent every night.’
So there you have it – in a minefield of emotional betrayal and hurt feelings, at the end of the day all that mattered to these couples was a penis!
