Felicity reveals to Kaitlyn that due to the pair sleeping in the same bed, she’s disgusted and can no longer see a future with Michael, 31 ‘You could’ve broken up my family,’ Felicity, 25, scolds Kaitlyn, before taking off her engagement ring and telling Kaitlyn to give it to Michael with the message: ‘It’s over.’

She adds: ‘He’s disappointed me again, I’m so used to Michael doing that. So this is the end point for me… How could I be with someone who has slept in the same bed as another girl?’

When Felicity speaks to New Idea, the health food business owner reveals she never really wanted to get married.

‘Marriage is not a priority
of mine,’ she says.

‘To be honest, I know a lot of girls dream about their wedding day and they’re very romantic like that – I’m
not like that. I’m not very affectionate. Could I ever see myself getting married? I don’t think so, but it’s definitely something that Michael wants.’

Felicity’s family history also adds to her views on marriage.

‘I came from a broken family, so it was very hard for me to see that growing up. My mum had two broken marriages and my dad had a few too,’ she says.

‘The meaning of marriage doesn’t mean as much to me – what’s more important is that I want to feel like I have a team-mate. I want to have somebody where we are
a team. Family means more to me than marriage.’

And when Michael
receives Felicity’s ring back from Kaitlyn, he fires up.

Full of anger, Michael storms away from Kaitlyn with the ring in hand and throws it away, where it lands in the bushes
 and beach below their home.

‘I’ll throw that [the engagement ring] in the ocean, I don’t really care. I just can’t see a future with her,’ Michael admits.
