Following an on-stage meltdown that saw him cancel his American tour, Kanye West is still receiving treatment in Los Angeles, where he was rushed to hospital earlier this week.
Now, TMZ is reporting that he is ‘in a bad mental state’, with his hospitalisation ‘far from over’ with his issues going ‘deeper’.
Checking in for initial psychosis brought on by sleep deprivation and extreme hydration, Kanye, 39, will stay at UCLA Medical Centre until the end of the week at least.
His wife, Kim Kardashian is currently bed side as the US celebrates Thanksgiving.
TMZ reports, ‘We’re told some members of Kanye’s family wanted him home for Thanksgiving and felt it would do him good, but as of yesterday that looked improbable.’
