Selena Gomez has melted hearts after she posted a video dancing with fan Audrey Nethery, who has rare bone marrow disease Diamond-Blackfan anemia.
Before Gomez’s concert in Kentucky on Wednesday night, the Hands To Myself singer made time to dance with Nethery to her song, Love You Like A Love Song.
Gomez shared the video on her Instagram page, saying, ‘Finally got to meet this sweetheart – she owned it fully.’
In January, Nethery’s mum shared a video dancing to one Gomez’s songs on Facebook.
It didn’t take long for Gomez to see the video and reply. ‘Audrey, you are an amazing performer! Call me if you ever need a duet partner,’ she wrote.
Months later, Nethery’s wish became a reality.
This isn’t the first time Nethery has made headlines. A video of Internet star dancing at a Zumba convention in Orlando, Florida, went viral last year.
Nethery’s mum, Julie Haise, told Today.com last year, ‘When she’s not doing Zumba, she’s singing and dancing and there was a lot of singing and dancing going on after that call.’
