Legendary SBS newsreader Lee Lin Chin has well and truly put Bachelorette star Georgia Love in her place – and it only took seven words!
Taking to Twitter to announce her excitement over potentially meeting Lee at the Logies, Georgia wrote:
‘With only 35 hours until the Logies it has only just occurred to me I will be in the same room as. This changes everything,’ she exclaimed in excitement.
However, the feeling did not appear to be mutual for Lee, who rather cuttingly replied:
‘It changes nothing. I shan’t be attending.’
Ouch!
Fans were quick to pick up on Lee’s knock-back, with one user stating: ‘Shattering dreams. Harsh but lovable.’
Last year Lee attended the prestigious awards ceremony with 10-year-old Charlie La Rosa, whose mother Samantha, has been a hair and makeup artist for SBS for over 18 years.
She was nominated for a Gold Logie up against actress Essie Davis, Scott Cam, Grant Denyer, Carrie Bickmore, and the winner Waleed Aly.
