Sasha Mielczarek’s latest interview is sure to split your heart in two, as he makes a sad statement about his relationship with Sam Frost.
The duo famously met on The Bachelorette and enjoyed nearly two happy years together, before announcing their split in December 2016.
In a candid new interview with WHO, Sasha fought back against rumours that he and Sam only stayed together for 18 months due to their contract.
“That’s ridiculous. No such thing exists. I mean, Sam and I fell in love. And I still love her,” he admitted. “She’s an amazing person. We fell head over heels in love from the moment we saw each other. There was no way that wasn’t real.”
When asked about the other rumours that he had dumped Sam for another woman, he replied: “That’s ridiculous. I am sitting here alone. I’m single. I’ve been spending time with friends and family and they’ve helped me get back on my feet.”
The reality TV star revealed that he has relied on loved ones to make it through this “pretty tough couple of months.” Along with the breakdown of his relationship came the sudden passing of his beloved grandmother Roma.
But with the help of friends, such as fellow contestant Dave Billsborow, Sasha reveals he is “feeling much better.”
