Samantha Armytage’s life may be one of glitz and glamour these days, but it wasn’t always that way.
Proving to fans that she hasn’t forgotten her roots, the Sunrise host shared a throwback snap of herself and her two younger siblings, Georgina and Charles as kids during a family holiday.
‘To all those kids having fancy overseas holidays, I give you; the Armytage kids doing the Murrumbidgee in the summer of ’85,’ Sam captioned the snap.
‘And I wouldn’t change it for all the world,’ she added, along with the hashtag #watchoutforthetigersnakes.
Sam – who grew up with her siblings outside of Sydney in the NSW Snowy Mountains – can be seen posing shyly in a green bathing suit whilst holding her baby brother.
From small town country girl to Sunrise host – Sam has come a long way!
