Sam Frost has seemingly broken her silence on her shock split from Sasha Mielczarek.
Taking to Instagram earlier on today, the Rove and Sam star shared a picture of herself looking perplexed along with the caption:
‘This facial expression pretty much sums up my 2016 • Happy New Years Legends.
‘Now let’s all put our hands in the middle & make a virtual pack, to not be so hard on ourselves when we inevitably screw up 2017 in the first few days.’
This is the first time she’s publically spoken since her manager announced her split from Bachelorette winner Sasha – who she’d been dating for 18 months.
Ending weeks of speculation, the statement read:
‘After 18 months together, Sam Frost and Sasha Mielczarek have come to a mutual decision to end their relationship
‘It is important to stress that there is no bitterness or scandal, they have just come to the realisation that the best way forward is to separate.’
‘They wholeheartedly respect and cherish the friendship they have for one another which will continue moving forward,’ she went on.
‘They wish to thank everyone for their love and support over the past 18 months.’
Sasha was quick to comment on the announcement, taking to Instagram just hours later.
‘I respect Sam wholeheartedly and cherish our new found friendship. It is important to stress that there is no bitterness or scandal however the distance has been challenging at times.’
