Sam Armytage is busy celebrating an exciting anniversary – four months with her new Labrador puppy, Banjo!
And of course the Sunrise host has commemorated the doggie milestone in style – posting a pic on Instagram of her wearing festive decorations and presenting her beloved pooch with a lamb chop, complete with a birthday candle.
‘4 months!!! That’s, like, 2.333333333 dog years #Banjo #weMadeIt #chopCake’ she wrote.
Sam welcomed Banjo into her life in December – ‘I wanted loyalty, so I got a dog,’ she told Stellar magazine – revealing he was the ‘best’ Christmas present to herself.
Since then, the TV favourite has kept her thousands of social media followers entertained with cute pics and adventures about the cheeky pup – in particular, Banjo’s habits of chewing through her various things.
As well as eating her Sunrise script, Banjo has munched through a hose, Sam’s hat, a toy chook and a rake.
Looks like Sam has her hands full!
