Congratulations go out to Sam and Phoebe Burgess who have welcomed their first child.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs star took to Instagram to share the news and announce their daughter’s name: Poppy Alice.
“Poppy Alice Burgess 24.1.17,” the new father wrote alongside a photo of himself, his wife and their newborn.
“My two girls doing extremely well. My everything 💕”.
The 27-year-old joked about her growing baby bump just two weeks ago, “What swallowing a Swiss Ball looks like 👀 #37weeks 🏀”.
The couple celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in December 2016.
