Sally Obermeder revealed the secret to her 15-year marriage.
Crediting her husband Marcus to helping her overcome her struggles after a breast cancer diagnosis, the Daily Edition host says arguing has kept them together.
‘The most important thing is we’re pretty comfortable hashing things out,’ she told Prevention magazine.
‘Him being happy is the most important thing to me—and vice versa. When you come from that place, even when you’re arguing, it’s ultimately for the greater good.’
Obermeder was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011, the day before she gave birth to her daughter, Annabelle.
In an interview with New Idea magazine, said doctors had warned her that another pregnancy was ‘far too dangerous’.
‘I’ve been told in no uncertain terms that it’s far too dangerous for me to be pregnant again, in terms of the cancer returning,’ she said.
‘I acknowledge that I’m extremely lucky to have one child … But the yearning and desire to be a mum again is so strong and it has not passed.
‘Before I was sick I always pictured I would have two or three children, if I was lucky enough, and I still want that for Annabelle.’
Earlier this year, Obermeder announced she was expecting another child via a surrogate.
