It seems like Dakota Johnson may have to take some advice from her most recent movie How To Be Single with sad news emerging last week that the actress and her boyfriend of two years have called it quits.
It seems busy schedules are to blame for the split with a source revealing to E! News “They didn’t get a chance to see much of each other recently because their work schedules didn’t align. She’s been up in Vancouver shooting the Fifty Shades trilogy.”
Matthew Hitt and the 50 Shades actress first went public with the relationship back in September 2013 and dated on and off again until recently.
Back in February, Johnson told ET some advice her mother Melanie Griffith gave her about men.
“She always said not to compromise myself or my work or my dreams for anyone,” she said. “Especially a dude.”
