Ben Affleck is officially moving on from his married life with Jennifer Garner.
The actor is moving in to a new home in Los Angeles amid his divorce.
“They want to be sure the kids are comfortable,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE.
“He’s moving fairly close by and it’s all in step with what they’ve always said was the most important thing: their children.”
Despite filing for divorce in June 2015, Ben remained in the guest house of the family home as the couple attempted to work through their struggles, including his alcohol addiction, over the last two years.
However, Jen filed for a divorce for a second time on April 13th of this year.
“One thing they agree on — the kids will stay at the family house,” a source previously told the publication.
“Jen and Ben will focus on making things as smoothly as possible for the kids. It’s all about what’s best for them.”
“These two have so much love for each other,” added a source close to them. “It’s deep.”
We’re sad to see another favourite Hollywood couple go their separate ways, but we’re happy to see they’ve maintained a good friendship through their split.
