With growing buzz that young lovers Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are set to walk down the aisle, Bindi’s mum Terri is said to be very excited about the prospect of marriage and babies for her daughter.
Indeed Bindi has admitted in the past that she thinks her mum and 13-year-old brother Bob ‘love [Chandler] more than I do’.
But there’s one other person who’s given the smitten couple his approval: Terri’s rumoured flame Russell Crowe.
‘Russell’s an incredible mentor to Bindi,’ the insider says.
‘He’s so proud of how she’s conducted herself since her father died. She’s grown into a perfect young lady and he totally approves of Chandler, and is thrilled that Terri and Steve’s princess has found her very own Prince Charming.’
In fact, insiders say the Gladiator star has even told Bindi he’d walk her down the aisle!
‘They both want to start a family as soon as they’re married, if not before,’ the friend of the couple reveals.
‘Bindi sees Chandler as perfect daddy material, and he cannot wait to see her holding their own flesh and blood in her arms.’
