Controversial rapper Azealia Banks has accused Aussie actor Russell Crowe of racially abusing, choking her and spitting at her in a late night brawl at one of the superstar’s parties.
The performer, 25, who is famed for a string of abusive run-ins with other celebrities, says the incident occurred at a get-together at Russell’s suite at the Beverly Hills Hotel, which all sides agree descended into chaos.
‘To recap my night, I went to a party at Russell Crowe’s suite, at which he called me a n****r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me,’ she claimed in a now-deleted social media post.
‘The men in the room allowed it to happen. I feel terrible today.’
However some witnesses at the party claim things played out differently than the way Azealia alleges, with the rapper accused of being ‘the aggressor’, who initiated the racial sledging by allegedly calling Crowe a ‘boring white man’.
Witnesses told TMZ that Banks went wild after being challenged by another guest about her language, with the starlet allegedly saying, ‘You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino s***.’
Things then quickly degenerated, with Banks removed from the party in disputed circumstances.
Neither of the stars’ reps has commented at the time of publication.
