Sad health news for Ruby Rose, as the actress tweeted a picture from hospital of her in a wheelchair.
The Aussie starlet has been suffering a “spine issue” and is recovering after surgery.
The Orange is the New Black star told her 1.34 million Twitter followers that she will be taking some time off to recover.
“So..For the past few years (decade) I’ve been dealing with a spine issue,” she wrote.
“I am now recovering from a back procedure, but I do need to stay active, so before I get seen with my cane and wheelchair in public, I’d rather put it out there that I’m fine and going to be fine.”
The 31 year old also posted a picture of girlfriend Jessica Origliasso from The Veronica’s giving her a supportive hug.
“Behind every strong female lead is another strong female lead,” she captioned the touching picture.
The star previously revealed her spinal issues are the result of a serious car accident some years ago.
Addressing negative comments about her weight on December 4 following the Pitch Perfect premiere, she wrote, “This is always my back,. I have a tilted posterior (it’s why I have abs but no butt) and spinal curvature from a bad car accident.”
Ruby also revealed that she has quit smoking as a result of her back issues.
