Just days after it was announced his 7pm 2DayFM radio slot with Sam Frost was being axed, Rove McManus has taken to Instagram to post a heartfelt to his former colleague.
Posting a picture of the pair hugging tightly, Rove wrote: ‘Friends forever @fro01… once we untangle our arms.’
And the former Bachelorette star was quick to respond, commenting: ‘I LOVE THIS!!!! You’re the best! I can’t wait for nachos, board games & wine night.’
It was confirmed on Friday that Rove and Sam’s weekly show was being axed.
‘Rove and Sam’s 7-8 pm show on the Hit Network will finish up today, June 30,’ a spokeswoman for Southern Cross Austereo said.
‘Rove’s remaining within the SCA family and working on a new project with another part of our business. Sam’s contract has now ended and we wish her well with her coming up TV work.’
