Sin City actress Rosario Dawson found her 26-year-old cousin Vanez Ines Vasquez dead in her LA home, according to TMZ.
The site claims Dawson found her cousin unconscious and unresponsive and called paramedics immediately.
Ambulance officers rushed to the scene but were unable to resuscitate Vasquez.
According to TMZ, Vasquez had been suffering from migraines and hypertension.
Toxicology results are still pending but it’s too soon to say whether she died of natural causes Chief Coroner Ed Winter told PEOPLE.
Her mother Lisa Centeno wrote a heartfelt tribute on Fcaebook.
“Vaneza, my sweet, sweet beautiful baby – your passing has left me destroyed forever but I know you are at peace in Paradise. I love you, my alpha child,” she wrote.
