Rob Kardashian has checked into an LA hospital after suffering what sources describe as a ‘stress-related diabetes attack’.
The 29-year-old, who became a first-time father in November with on-off fiancé Blac Chyna, is believed to have fallen dangerously ill after his well-publicized relationship woes led him to overeat. TMZ reports the younger brother of Kim Kardashian has gained ‘an alarming amount of weight recently’ causing a flare-up of his diabetes. He was diagnosed with the disease this time last year.
Despite splitting up earlier this month before reconciling, Blac Chyna – who is not believed to be living with Rob – rushed to his bedside at a Hidden Hills, California hospital late Wednesday evening LA time.
TMZ has also obtained pictures of Rob’s mom Kris Jenner – clad in a camouflage onesie – and her boyfriend Cory Gamble arriving at the medical centre.
It has been reported that Kris refuses to speak to Chyna after she left Rob and took their baby daughter Dream earlier this month, amid rumors she was flirting with other men behind Rob’s back.
Some reports speculate that Rob is suffering a mental health breakdown, but TMZ’s sources insist it’s ‘health-related’.
Rob isn’t the first Kardashian male to be rushed to hospital. On November 22, Kim’s husband Kanye West was taken to the UCLA medical center for stress and exhaustion and placed on psychiatric hold.
